These terms govern your use of DebtMelt ("the Service"), operated by Frequency AI Ltd, trading as Cashew Crate. By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. What DebtMelt does

DebtMelt is a debt payoff calculator. You enter debt balances, interest rates, and minimum payments. The Service calculates payoff timelines using snowball and avalanche strategies. All calculations happen in your browser. DebtMelt does not provide financial advice.

2. Not financial advice

DebtMelt is for informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional financial advice. Consult a qualified financial advisor before making financial decisions. Calculations are estimates based on the data you provide and may not account for fees, variable rates, or other factors.

3. Accounts and payments

Free features require no account. Pro features require a Cashew Crate account and an active subscription. Payments are processed by Polar. You can cancel at any time from your account settings, and access continues until the end of the billing period.

4. Refunds

Email [email protected] with your order number and a description of the issue.

5. Data and storage

Debt data you enter is stored only in your browser's local storage. DebtMelt has no server-side database for user financial data. Clearing your browser data will remove your saved plans.

6. Limitation of liability

DebtMelt is provided "as is" without warranty. We are not liable for financial decisions made based on the Service's calculations. Use the results as one input among many in your financial planning.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
